DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was set on fire in Port Glasgow.
The blaze happened around 7pm on Friday in Burnside Avenue, near Southfield Avenue, and involved a black Volvo XC90 car.
The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no injuries.
Detective Constable Ruth Elder said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.
“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
