POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Greenock.
The 42-year-old was assaulted around 7pm on Tuesday in the Whinhill Crescent area. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men were seen at the time. They both wore black tops with hoods, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Detective Constable Agnieszka Telford said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the two men seen in the area at the time of this incident.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation.”
