PART of Port Glasgow’s industrial heritage is to get a makeover.
The historic steam hammer in Coronation Park, built by Glen and Ross in 1885, will be spruced up by Inverclyde Community Development Trust’s environmental teams.
The trust stated: “This is just one of a number of improvements, tidy-ups and repair projects around Port Glasgow that we will be undertaking the lead up to the year of celebration for Port Glasgow’s 250th anniversary.”
The trust’s environmental works project is funded by Inverclyde Council.
