MOTORISTS face disruption for around two weeks in Greenock town centre as initial work for major redevelopment takes place.
Ground investigation as part of the Greenock Central Levelling Up Project will be undertaken from Monday (3 March) until 25 March.
It will affect A78 High Street, A770 Dalrymple Street, A8 Dalrymple Street, A8 Bullring Roundabout, Container Way, Wallace Place, Hunters Place and around the Oak Mall.
Temporary traffic signals and lane closures will be in place from 3 March until 17 March.
Works will also take place within the car parks at Wallace Place and the Bullring between 3 March and 17 March, which will mean fewer spaces available.
