TEN Years Ago… No Nonsense Productions Staged Musical ‘Rent’
IT’S 10 years since a talented cast from local group No Nonsense Productions staged the powerful modern musical Rent in September 2009.
Rent ran for three nights at the Arts Guild Theatre, Greenock.
Set in New York City during the early 90s, it tells the story of a group of bohemian artists struggling to survive in the city’s Lower East Side under the shadow of AIDS.
The cast included familiar Inverclyde performers as well as young actors from Renfrew, Johnstone and Glasgow.
