THE 70th Scout Greenock and District group has presented leader Kenny Paton with his 50-year service award.
Leaders from the group enjoyed a meal with Kenny to celebrate this milestone.
Kenny began his Scouting career in the 45th before joining the 70th as an assistant Scout leader in December 1974.
Over the years he has taken part in many summer camps, in the UK and abroad, and has also been part of district and regional training teams, appointment committee and district executive.
He was in the Gang Show cast for many years, before helping in a front-of-house role.
Greenock and District lead volunteer Martin Buchan presented him with his award.
