ROAD users in Skelmorlie are being advised of further disruption as work continues on a £2million water network upgrade.
Following the near completion of a new water main installation on Shore Road, Scottish Water will resume work on 6 January 2025 to progress the next phase of the project, which is expected to last approximately 12 weeks.
The work will begin at Eglinton Terrace and continue into private land before impacting public roads.
Skelmorlie Castle Road will be closed from 13 January for three weeks. Meigle Road will be closed from 9 February 2025 for two weeks.
The work is being carried out by Scottish Water’s alliance partner, Caledonia Water Alliance.
