POLICE Make Further Plea Over Attempted Murder

DETECTIVES have again appealed for witnesses, two weeks after an attempted murder in Greenock town centre.

Emergency services were called to a report of a 21-year-old man with serious injuries on West Blackhall Street around 12.10am on Saturday 28 September.

Detective inspector Nicky Beattie said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would reassure the local community that extensive efforts are ongoing to identify whoever is responsible.

“I would urge anyone who may have information which has not yet been passed to police to get in touch as soon as you can.
