A HOUSEHOLDER was attacked and robbed at a property in Skelmorlie.
The incident happened around 1am on Thursday (27 February) at Skelmorlie Castle Road.
Three men forced entry and assaulted a 50-year-old man within. They stole a number of personal belongings as well as a sum of cash.
The first suspect is described as 5ft 10 and of slim build. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with a mask covering his face and had a local accent.

The second suspect is described as 5ft 6 and of heavy build. He was wearing an orange/red hooded top with red stripes, and light grey jogging bottoms with a red stripe down the side. He was also wearing a mask and had a local accent.
The third suspect is described as 5ft 10 and of medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, black bottoms and a mask covering his face.
Detective Sergeant Daniel Small said: “The victim in this incident has been left badly shaken by what happened and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace those responsible.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area at the time who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist our investigation, to please come forward.
“In addition, anyone who may have been nearby and witnessed anything suspicious or a disturbance, please contact officers.”
