AN Inverclyde countryside route is to be closed for overnight roadworks.
A section of the Old Largs Road near Greenock will be shut, from 9pm to 6am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (4 to 7 October) for carriageway reconstruction.
The closure will be in place from the junction with Dunrod Road for approximately two kilometres towards the boundary with North Ayrshire.
