GREENOCK parkrun welcomed 115 participants including two far-travelled visitors — Margaret Blythe, who was brought up in Greenock but moved to Exmouth more than 30 years ago, and Rebecca Laird from Houston, Texas, who informed organisers that her home city now has its own parkrun which has been going for ten weeks.
There were a total of seven first-timers at the weekly five-kilometre run on the Esplanade.
First male home was Kieran Cooper in 16.52 and first female was Abi Hammerman, pictured, in 20.48.
Eight people achieved personal best (PB) times — Clive Nelson, Sue Lassman, David Holmes, Alex Johnson, Willie Logan, Mary Paterson, Sophie Campbell and Jennifer Boyd.
