Master Charles Boyle and Ross Derrick with students from Greenock, Blantyre and Larkhall

INVERCLYDE Cho’s School of Tae Kwon-Do held a sparring seminar in aid of a Lanarkshire club hit hard by a fire.

The event was lead by Master Charles Boyle, 6th Degree black belt, along with one of his senior students, Ross Derrek, 3rd degree.

The seminar was in aid of the Blantyre School of Cho’s Tae Kwon Do after a fire destroyed both their training hall and equipment last month.

A lot of hard work was put in by those who attended the event which involved strength exercises, stamina and cardio, and was concluded with pad work and combination drills.

Master Boyle thanks parents who took time out to support the event.

Anyone interested in learning traditional Tae Kwon Do, can contact Master Boyle at his full-time studio, Inverclyde Cho’s Tae Kwon Do, 11a George Square, Greenock, PA15 1PQ or via the website www.Inverclyde-Taekwondo.com.

Classes are held from ages three-and-a-half upwards, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and newcomers get a week’s free trial.
