Inverclyde Now Logo TAE Kwon Do — Inverclyde Club Holds Competition

INVERCLYDE Cho’s Tae Kwon Do Scotland held it’s annual club competition awards at its full time dojang (hall) at 11A Clarence Street, Greenock.

Thirty-nine Students took part competing in patterns and point sparring and continuous sparring for senior grades with the little panthers breaking as well. 

The club tournaments are held to give inexperienced students a chance to compete, helping them to decide if they would like to compete nationally or internationally. 

All students receive a trophy whether they win or lose. Academy instructors Master Charles and Gillian Boyle congratulate all students who attended and thank all parents and grandparents for going along. Special thanks goes to Miss Fyfe, Mrs Pollock, Miss Docherty and Mrs Docherty and assistant instructor Ross Derrick, and other black belts students for helping out.

Students are training hard for the A.I.M.A.A. (Action International Martial Arts Association) Scotland Tae Kwon Do Championships on 19 March to be held at Lady Octavia Sports Centre, Greenock.
