OPENING Day For Ardgowan Club’s Bowling And Tennis SectionsARDGOWAN Club, Greenock opens for the 2018 season on Saturday (21 April) when both the bowling greens and tennis courts will be officially opened.
The greens will open at 2:30pm, when Jean Lindsay, wife of club president Brian, delivers the first ball of the season.
The opening of the tennis courts takes place immediately after.
Both sections will then be open for play with the bowlers holding a Wapenschaw and the tennis members holding a fun social competition.
The day will be brought to a close when the duo ‘5 Colours’ provide early evening entertainment starting around 5:30pm.
Light snacks will be available from early evening.
