GREENOCK parkrun’s regular tail-walker Andy Cameron has completed his 150th parkrun.

Also known as as the Man In Yellow Hat or Man With Big Green Hand, Andy shouts encouragement to everyone on the five-kilometre Esplanade course.

Everyone at Greenock parkrun congratulates him on the milestone.

Despite many people taking part in the Great Scottish Run on Sunday, there were 71 participants at Greenock parkrun on Saturday.

Eleven managed personal best times including the first two females home, Donna Campbell and Lynne Harrison.

Others improving their times were John Smillie, Calum Brennan, Ronnie Marshall, Sean Taylor, Jamie Conway, Elizabeth Rankin, Callum Cameron, Alison Smart and Carol Crawford.
