THE Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards finalists have been announced.
Contenders in the nine categories are as follows:
Senior Sports Personality — Kyle Brotherton, Isaac Dunning, Lucha DS Young Sports Personality — Ross Darroch, Matthew Garrity, Scott Hannaway, Stuart McAlees, Harry McGill
Disabled Sports Personality — Kyle Brotherton, Isaac Dunning, Aimee Hagan, Rhys McCole
Team of the Year — Ardgowan Tennis Club, Greenock Wanderers, Inverclyde Athletics Club, Inverclyde Goliaths, Waterfront Skate School
School Team of the Year — All Saints’ Primary (football), Clydeview Academy First/Second Year (athletics), Notre Dame High School Under-13s (football), St Stephen’s High School Under-16s (football)
Coach of the Year — John Black, Andrew Hamilton, Ally Hunter, Alex McWaters, Gemma Stewart
Club of the Year — Greenock Glenpark Harriers, Inverclyde American Football, Port Glasgow Boys’ Club, Port Glasgow Otters, Waterfront Ice Skating Club
Young Volunteer of the Year — Robert Todd, Gemma Stewart
Adult Volunteer of the Year — John Black, Bobby Thomson, Kevin Rodgers

The winners will be revealed at the gala awards event in Greenock Town Hall on Friday 8 March.
