GREENOCK parkrun attracted more than 100 participants for the ninth week in a row.

Despite wet weather, 113 people took on the five-kilometre course on the Esplanade. Seventeen were taking part at Greenock parkrun for the first time, three of them doing their first parkrun anywhere.

Completing their 50th runs were Sharon Taitt and Eleanor Connelly. Eleanor, pictured above, is Greenock parkrun’s local Sign Language support volunteer and she also managed to get a personal best (PB) time.
