GOUROCK Golf Club Celebrates Successful Junior Season
GOUROCK Golf Club held its Junior prize-giving and annual general meeting.
The event was the culmination of another successful season for the Junior section with membership approaching 100, increased winter and summer coaching opportunities for the boys and girls, more juniors gaining a handicap and, as a result, competing both on the course and at away open competitions and team matches.
The outgoing Junior Captain Ross McKay was thanked for his work, example and support during the 2019 season.
Junior Section plans for both the winter period and for next season are already well advanced and if any boy or girl between the ages of nine and 17 is interested in joining they will be made very welcome — e-mail Carol Anderson at secretary@gourockgolfclub.com or call 631001.
