GOLF — New Juniors Welcome At WhinhillWHINHILL Golf Club’s junior section holds its first coaching session of the season on Thursday (2 May) from 6.30 to 8.30pm.
Sessions will take place on Thursday evenings at the course in Beith Road, Greenock through the summer until the end of September.
New junior golfers (boys and girls between the ages of eight and 16) are welcome.
Membership also includes participation in various competitions, outings and events. All equipment can be provided.
New players are given a free three-week trial period to see if they enjoy the sport and want to continue to attend, before having to join as members of the club.
The membership fee is £52 for the year which covers the cost of a junior ticket from Inverclyde Council for use of the golf course.
