Inverclyde Now Logo CRICKET — Update From Inverclyde’s Juniors

INVERCLYDE Cricket Club’s young junior players — the minors and mini-minors — successfully completed the 2019 Kwik Cricket programme.

They were presented with certificates at the last of the indoor winter sessions.

The players with coaches Gareth Smith, Iain Gibson and Ross Blair, plus junior Alexander Murray, who has been assisting. Inverclyde’s juniors now move outdoors for the summer at Gourock Park on Tuesday evenings, 6 till 7.30, starting 7 May.

The younger players (six to 10-year-olds) will have the opportunity to participate in Kwik cricket festivals at which the focus is on fun and enjoyment while the older players will be moving up to play for Inverclyde’s new development team.
