BOWLS — Wellington Park Hold Annual Open Pairs Contest
WELLINGTON Park Bowling Club, Greenock held its annual open pairs competition.
The 24 teams which entered were drawn into four sections and then played a league format which was followed by quarter, semi and final play-offs.
Results:
Winners — John McGilvray and Alex Cunningham (Wellington Park)
Runners-up — Sandy and George Felgate (Grosvenor BC)
Semi-Finalists — Thomas Leisk Jr and John Stanton (Victoria BC) Jim and Paul McElwee (Rankin Park)
The club thank hard-working members plus spectators and players for making it such an enjoyable day.
