PLANNERS are being asked to approve a hot food takeaway at a new shops development in Larkfield.
A change-of-use application has been submitted for premises at Burns Square, Greenock.
There is currently permission for the unit involved -- the one on the right hand side of the building -- to be run as a shop.
No details about what kind of takeaway it would be are given.
The three-unit development is on the site of the former Elizabeth Martin Clinic.
A chemist already operates from it. The other unit was approved for use as a doctor/dental surgery.
The takeaway proposal is pending assessment by Inverclyde Council officials.
