FOUR men playing football at Battery Park, Greenock, on Saturday afternoon returned to the changing room to find money and bankcards had been stolen from their clothes. Police inquiries are continuing and any witnesses are urged to call 101.

EMERGENCY services dealt with a crash on Clune Brae, Port Glasgow late on Wednesday night. One vehicle was involved. The driver was not injured. The road was closed while the vehicle was recovered.
