WEST College Scotland has announced that all its classes on Thursday 27 April will be cancelled because of a strike by lecturers.
The college has campuses in Greenock, Paisley and Clydebank.
The strike is part of an on-going Scotland-wide dispute about pay, terms and conditions.
Students are being told they do not have to go to the college on 27 April.
In Greenock, the Finnart Street campus will be open from 8am to 9pm but will only be able to provide a limited service to students. The library will be open for study and the social areas and dining facilities will also be open. Classrooms, workshops and labs will not open.
The Waterfront campus will be closed.
