THREE Allegedly Assaulted During Port Glasgow Disturbance

DETECTIVES have made two arrests after three men were injured during a disturbance in Port Glasgow.

The incident, involving a number of people, happened at a property in Slaemuir Avenue just before 1.30am on Saturday.

Two men, aged 24 and 29, were allegedly seriously assaulted and the other, aged 66, allegedly was the victim of a more minor assault.

All three were treated at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and allowed home.

A 66-year-old man has been charged with serious assault and a man in his 20s has been charged with serious and common assault.

They are expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday.
