NEW Autism Support Fund Launched

A NEW fund has been launched by the Inverclyde Autism Implementation Group (AIG) to help local groups and organisations take forward ideas and activities to benefit people impacted by autism in the area.  

Applications for support from the new Autism Friendly Inverclyde Community Development Fund can be made until Friday 1 September at 5pm.

The new fund has been allocated by Inverclyde Council through the Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).  

Applications will be assessed and recommendations made to Inverclyde Council and the HSCP by the AIG funding sub-group. The AIG consists of practitioners and representatives of community groups, carers, service users, volunteers, third sector organisations, Inverclyde Council and the HSCP.

The AIG is encouraging substantive bids that also promote partnership working. The total amount of funding awarded is £150,000, with £50,000 the minimum that can be applied for.
