INVERCLYDE's annual Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) one-act play festival takes place at the Beacon Theatre, Greenock from Wednesday 21 February to Saturday 24 February.
There will be three 30 to 40-minute plays each night from 7 o'clock.
The festival has two categories, youth and open (senior). This year there are youth entries from Greenock Players, Kayos Theatre, St.Stephen's High School and Port Glasgow High School.
The open festival has entrants from Attic Players, Greenock Players and the G.I.P. Theatre Company.

David Carswell, vice-president of Inverclyde SCDA, said: "There will be different types of entertainment with plenty of drama and comedy on show, provided by some extremely talented local performers.
"The actors involved will have been seen recently in productions such as Rock Of Ages and Mon Eh Ton.
