FOUR candidates are standing for the Inverclyde constituency in next month's UK Parliamentary Election.

They are:

Ronnie Cowan -- Scottish National Party (SNP)

Haroun Malik -- Scottish Conservative and Unionist

Martin McCluskey -- Scottish Labour Party

Jacci Stoyle -- Scottish Liberal Democrats The deadline for nominations was this afternoon.  

The election will take place on Thursday 12 December when polls will be open from 7am until 10pm across Inverclyde.
