MCGILL'S Announce Changes To Local Bus Network

McGill's Buses in Port Glasgow

MCGILL'S Buses have made changes to a number of Inverclyde services. The new Port Glasgow retail park and Kingston Dock housing development will be served for the first time.

Local Port Glasgow routes 531, 532 and 533 will all include the Gallagher Shopping Park from Monday 10 April.

Meanwhile, from Monday 3 April, Service X22, that runs between Greenock and Clydebank, will go through the Kingston Dock housing estate and the shopping park.

Gallagher Shopping Park

Greenock/Gourock local Service 547 is being extended to Inverkip, Wemyss Bay, Skelmorlie and upper Skelmorlie from Monday 10 April. This will replace services 578/580 apart from the 578 journeys run on behalf of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT).

From Monday 3 April, Service 530, between Greenock and Kilmacolm is being absorbed into the X7 Greenock to Glasgow via Port Glasgow and Bridge of Weir. The X7 will have journeys running later into the evening.

The Clydeflyer routes between Glasgow and Largs via Inverclyde switch to their summer timetable from Monday 3 April with a combined 15-minute frequency.

Service 519 Greenock town centre to Branchton is being discontinued from Monday 3 April.
