MASSIVE Vessel Will Be Largest Cruise Ship To Have Visited The Clyde

THE record for the biggest cruise ship to call at Greenock is set to be broken in 2018.

The massive vessel MSC Meraviglia is booked in to call at the Ocean Terminal twice next year.

Features will include a double-height indoor promenade with a LED domed ceiling which serves as a digital sky; a full-size bowling alley; a water park; a sports hall;  and 12 dining venues.

The ship's first visit to Greenock will be on Friday 4 May 2018 during an 11-night cruise starting and finishing in Hamburg with calls at Invergordon, Kirkwall, Dublin, Cork and Southampton.

The second call is on Wednesday 29 August 2018 as part of another 10-night northern Europe cruise.
