INVERCLYDE Chamber of Commerce and Scottish Women in Business (SWIB) are holding a networking evening next month.
It takes place at Greenock Wanderers rugby club, Octavia Terrace, on Thursday 29 August, and is being held courtesy of MM Search.
Inspired by SWIB’s August theme of collaboration, the inclusive event aims to help attendees expand their networks and explore new opportunities within Inverclyde and beyond.
The event will spotlight local entrepreneur Jayne Lasley, owner of Fairlie Curved.
Those going along will also be encouraged to step out of their comfort zones to build valuable connections, and will hear about mastering social media platform LinkedIn for professional success.
Following the formal presentations, there will be drinks and a chance to continue networking.
Lizzy Todd, president of Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce, said: “SWIB’s collaboration is fantastic for our community, bringing fresh perspectives and opportunities to Inverclyde. We’re excited to welcome everyone to share ideas and connect in our vibrant local business scene.”
Funds will also be raised for SWIB’s charity of the year, Baby Loss Retreat, which has helped many parents in Inverclyde.
The event is open to all members of the community, regardless of gender.
Tickets are free and can be obtained online through Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce.
