FORMER Greenock nightclub Babylon has bitten the dust, and given up another of its relics.
The building at the corner of Argyle Street and West Stewart Street — which was originally the BB Cinema — is being demolished to make way for housing.
A crew from Central Demolition have been painstakingly dismantling the structure for weeks but over the past two days have been able to step up their efforts and this morning the roof came down.
A replica of the mask of Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun was lifted clear a bit worse for wear.
