MORTON have confirmed that the only access to Cappielow for fans for up to 11 weeks will be via the A8 end of Sinclair Street.
Essential maintenance is to take place on the rail line and bridge beside the stadium starting later this month, through to mid-April.
The road under the bridge will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
The club state: “We have been in discussion with Network Rail for a number of weeks and, although frustrating, it is clear that this work is required for the safety of the rail line and the bridge.
“During this time there will also be a restriction on car parking spaces in the top car park on matchday, due to a section of the land being utilised by Network Rail and their contractors for carrying out the works.”
The disruption comes as the club deal with significant damage to the Cowshed during last month’s severe storm.
