ENVIRONMENTAL group Green Tangerine is gearing up for another busy year of litter picks at Inverclyde’s beaches and beauty spots.
The group has drawn up a schedule of clean-ups stretching from Port Glasgow to Wemyss Bay and is hoping more people than ever will join in the campaign to rid areas of rubbish.
Last year the army of litter pickers prevented more than 6,000kg of rubbish from entering the Clyde.

1 February: Port Glasgow. Meet at Kingston Dock at 10.30.
2 February: Greenock, Murdieston Dam. Meet at Wallace Street at 12.30.
8 February: Greenock: Lyle Hill at 10.00.
