CRUISE line Virgin Voyages is to use Greenock as a port of call for the first time.

Two of the operator’s vessels will head to the Clyde over the next two years.

Scarlet Lady is due to visit Greenock on Monday 25 August 2025, as part of a 13-day round-trip sailing from Portsmouth including calls at Amsterdam, Zeebrugge, Kirkwall, Stornoway, Belfast and Dublin.

The 110,000-tonne ship, which entered service in 2021, can carry around 2,750 passengers.

Sister ship Valiant Lady is scheduled to call at Greenock twice the following year, in July and August 2026.
