A FREE, informal, drop-in bereavement cafe is running at Branchton Community Centre, Greenock, in partnership with Compassionate Inverclyde, on Wednesday mornings from 10.45 to noon. People are welcome to go in and have a coffee and a bit of company.

A REWARD is being offered for the return of a ring lost at the Argyll and Sutherland Bar in Greenock on Saturday night. The ring is of sentimental value as it was given to its owner by her dad when he found out he had cancer. Anyone who finds it is asked to call 07796 462555.

A CRAFT fair is being held at Greenock Baptist Church, St Andrew Square, Carnock Street, on Saturday (25 February) from 10.30am to 4pm. Locally-handmade products for sale will include jewellery, cushions, hair accessories, jam, tablet, wooden signs, children's clothes, cards and leather-bound books. 

INVERKIP Church is holding a Fair Trade coffee morning in the church hall, Langhouse Road, on Saturday 4 March from 10.30 to 12.30 featuring a Fair Trade Stall and representatives from Home Energy Scotland, Inverclyde Council Recycling and Inverkip Primary Eco-group.Admission is £2 with proceeds going towards Traidcraft exchange projects.
