TENNIS camps for children are again being held in Greenock over the Easter holidays.

They will take place at Fort Matilda and Ardgowan tennis clubs and will include coaching, match play and fun games.

The sessions will run at Ardgowan Square from 3 April to 7 April and at Fort Matilda, Newark Street, from 10 April to 14 April.

Times are 10am to noon for five to nine-year-olds and 1 to 3pm for 10 to 15-year-olds.

Registration takes place at the venue for each class 15 minutes before start time

The cost for members of either club is £5 per day or £20 per week and for non-members is £7 per day or £30 per week. Second child or more siblings pay half price.

Calum Roberts, head coach and tennis development officer for both clubs said: “These camps are a popular way for youngsters to try out tennis and get a feel for the game. Hopefully they like it and will want to take up tennis at one of the two clubs.”
