Five-A-Side Success For 2nd Gourock

The 2nd Gourock Company’s junior five-a-side football squad retained their Boys’ Brigade Scotland title in a keenly-contested final in Grangemouth. The Gourock lads were undefeated overcoming strong challenges from Dundee, Kilmarnock, Overtown, Larbert and Banff.

Ben Kane, Lewis McEwan, Ian Begg, Connor McGhee, Charlie Reid, Lewis Hainey, Josh Barrs and Olly Reid now head for Northern Ireland for the UK Finals on 13 May along with runners-up 1st Banff as Scotland’s representatives.

The victory means 2nd Gourock again hold both the Junior and Senior Scottish titles in the same season.
