CEDARS School of Excellence in Greenock is holding a nearly new sale on Saturday (4 March) at the school in Ardgowan Square.
The event, from 10am to 2pm, is raising funds for a trip in June when 21 pupils and eight staff, along with 29 suitcases of resources, will be go to Rwamagana in Rwanda for a 14-day trip.
The pupils will work there with the Inverclyde charity Aid for Education on a range of different projects in the local community.
The school is aiming to raise £8,000 so that they can build a classroom for the local children.
The pupils will also run children’s activities and distribute goats and other resources to local families.
