14 March, 2017 | Noticeboard

THE Rotary Club of Greenock hold their annual Burns Supper on Friday 24 March, carrying on the club tradition of holding it later then everyone else.

The supper takes place at the 175 Club, 10A Kelly Street, Greenock, 6.30 for 7pm.

A club spokesman said: “The advantage of not holding it in January is that it allows us to get good speakers.”

The Immortal Memory will be given by Jim Donnelly, president of the Greenock Mother Club, the Toast to the Lassies by Adam Piggott and the Reply will be by Morag McIntosh, past president of the Rotary Club of Glasgow.

Tickets cost £16 and are available by calling 01475 784317 or 01475 781881.

All proceeds will go to Rotary charities.
