ORGAN Recital To Round Off ‘Music In Lyle Kirk’ SeriesTHE final concert in this season’s Music In Lyle Kirk series takes place on Sunday 12 May at 3pm in the church’s Newark Street building.
It will be an organ recital given by David Murray, director of music at Oakshaw Trinity Church in Paisley.
He has been a regular at Lyle Kirk over the years as a soloist and accompanist to many choirs and part of the Peal of Carols team.
The first half of his programme will feature traditional organ repertoire and the second half will be in the style of The Organist Entertains –- a miscellany of radio and TV memories.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be served afterwards. Entry is free and there will be an opportunity to donate towards covering costs.
