OPEN Day To Showcase Revamped Broomhill Flats

RIVER Clyde Homes is holding an open day at Prospecthill Court, Greenock to show off newly-modernised, energy-efficient flats.
It takes place at the Broomhill high-rise on Wednesday (1 February) between 3 and 7pm.
Broomhill is undergoing a major makeover with the transformation of 600 low-rise and multi-storey flats, with new kitchens and bathrooms, eco-friendly heating systems, double glazed windows and hi-tech security features.
The high-rise properties will also have refurbished, modernised foyer areas, a concierge service, controlled entry, new fire detection systems in communal areas, and front doors that have been designed to Secure by Design standards.
Alan Duncan, a River Clyde Homes Board member, said: “I urge local people to forget any preconceptions they may have about Broomhill and come along to the open day to see, for themselves, the massive changes that are taking place in the area.
“The transformation of Broomhill is one of the largest regeneration projects in Scotland. People are welcome to come along to our show flat at Prospecthill Court, have a cup of tea, chat to our team and experience for themselves just how modern, spacious and energy efficient these flats will be – and they are ready to move into now.”
