Inverclyde Now Logo MORE Chances To Give Blood In Greenock And Gourock

16 March, 2017 | Noticeboard

THE Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service is increasing the number of donating sessions it holds in Greenock and Gourock.

They will take place in the towns on alternate months from April instead of three times a year.

Lisa Kerr of donor recruitment with the sevrice said: “This won’t affect the frequency at which people donate, as people must leave at least 12 weeks between donations, but will give more flexibility if people cannot attend that month.”

The next two Greenock sessions are on 3 April and 5 June at Greenock Town Hall, 2.15 to 3.45pm and 5.15 to 7.30pm.

The next two Gourock sessions are on 23 May and 25 July at The Gamble Halls, 2 to 3.45pm and 5.15 to 7.30pm.
