LAST Chance To Vote For Voluntary Organisation Of The YearVOTING to decide on Inverclyde’s voluntary organisation of the year, as part of Reach for the Stars — the Inverclyde Community Awards 2018, closes tomorrow (Thursday) at noon.
Run by CVS Inverclyde, the awards will see voluntary organisations and volunteers recognised and rewarded for their contribution to the local community.
Four finalists have been shortlisted in the Voluntary Organisation of the Year category.
They are Ardgowan Hospice/Compassionate Inverclyde, Belville Community Garden Trust, Gourock Golf Club and Heartstart Inverclyde.
While the judges’ decision accounts for half of the marks awarded to each finalist, voting by the public will determine the remaining 50 per cent and help decide the winner.
The awards night takes place at the Waterfront Cinema, Greenock on Thursday 15 November. There are also three finalists in each of four volunteer categories.
