Business Development Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen within PG Paper for a dynamic person looking to progress into a growing and successful company. We are looking for a Business Development Executive, to join our growing sales team, who meets the following requirements:

— Bachelors degree with a minimum 2:2 attainment preferably in a business domain

— Experience in a sales role, desirable but not essential

— Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc

— A second language, desirable but not essential

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following skills:

— Independent planning and working

— Self-motivated and target-driven

— Well-organised with a high level of attention to detail

— Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

— Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

— Ability to take a project from initial steps to completion

— Ability to use initiative and problem solve

The main responsibilities will include:

— Market research, business development, sales and account management

— Pro-actively sourcing new leads and new business opportunities

— Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly

— Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s

— Attending industry events in order to generate business leads

Job Type: Full-time

Required education: Bachelor’s degree

Required experience: Sales or Business Development: one year

Sea Freight Co-ordinator

The successful candidate will be joining a relatively small but hugely successful team. We are looking for person with the ability to multi –task. The job is varied and will involve all aspects of sea freight-forwarding as well as administrative specific jobs. Previous freight-forwarding experience is essential but ultimately the candidate must be well-organised, strategic and be able to carry out a job from start to finish.

Job Description:

— Requesting rates from shipping lines

— Setting up freight contracts and ensuring competitive agreements

— Monitoring and co-ordinating port information and recording on in-house databases

— Co-ordination of shipping, often including road haulage, and carrying out customs

— Co-ordinating import shipments and relevant documentation

— Raising invoice, packing lists, and other export documentation

— Submitting documentation in relation to ‘Letters of Credit’

— Invoice verification

Skills Requirement:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

— Computer literate with use of Netsuite (desirable), Microsoft Office and Adobe

— In-house database experience

— Strong attention to detail

— Excellent general administration skills

— Excellent communication skills

— Demonstrate the strictest standards of confidentiality

— Ability to work to tight deadlines

— Strong organisational skills essential coupled with the ability to multi-task

— Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum direction

Required experience: two years of Logistics experience.
