CHRISTMAS lights switch-on events have been arranged for every Inverclyde town and village.

Details

Greenock — Friday 24 November. From 5pm, there is a Christmas parade from Westburn Street through the Oak Mall to Clyde Square for family fun and entertainment. The lights go on at 6.30pm.

Gourock — Friday 1 December from 6pm at Kempock Gardens.

Wemyss Bay — Friday 1 December from 6.45pm, at Wemyss Bay Community Centre.

Port Glasgow — Wednesday 6 December from 6pm outside Port Glasgow Library.

Quarrier’s Village – Friday 8 December from 4pm outside Quarrier’s head office

Kilmacolm — Friday 8 December from 6pm at the Cargill Centre.

Inverkip — Friday 8 December from 6pm at Inverkip Community Hub.
