GREENOCK Philharmonic Choir holds its Christmas concert on Saturday (9 December) at 7.30pm in Lyle Kirk, Newark Street (formerly Finnart St Paul’s).

They will perform Vivaldi’s Gloria and lots of lively carols and songs to celebrate the festive season. 

At the baton will be their new conductor Andrew McTaggart who is looking forward to his first concert with the choir.

The choir will be joined by a children’s choir from local schools conducted by Alison McNeill and choir accompanist Wilson Chu will delight the audience with his own improvisations on Christmas carols at the piano.

Tickets — £10 (under-12s free) — will be available at the door and include refreshments after the concert.
