GREENOCK Philosophical Society will hear about The Ancient Art of the Traditional Story Teller at their lecture on Friday (3 February).

The talk will be delivered by Marjorie Leithead who is storyteller-in-residence at Gunsgreen House, Eyemouth, which is known as The House of Secrets because of its association with smuggling.

The lecture will be suitable for children.

The talk will be held in the McLean Museum’s Watt Hall, Kelly Street, Greenock, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7pm.

The Watt Hall is equipped with a hearing-aid loop. Membership of the Society costs £10 and membership cards can be purchased at the door.  Admission charge for visitors to this talk is £1.50.
