A FREE Saturday family cooking course is being run in Port Glasgow.

It is open to parents or carers of children aged four to eight and aims to show how to make meals that are healthier and cheaper than takeaways and ready meals.

The course starts on 4 March, 10am to 1pm, and is being held on each Saturday in March, at the iYouth Zone in Dubbs Place.

It is being run by Inverclyde Council Community Learning and Development and is accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
