Inverclyde Now Logo RECYCLING And Upcycling Event In Greenock

RIG Arts open their Recycle Upcycle exhibition and launch their new project Plastic Fantastic on Saturday (22 April) at the Tobacco Warehouse, 2 Haig Street, Greenock.

The event is from 1 to 5pm with free workshops on recycling and upcycling from 1 to 3pm. Refreshments will be provided. 

The exhibition will showcase work from the RIG Arts Recycle Upcycle project which involved pupils from St Patrick’s and Whinhill Primary Schools, Notre Dame High School, and community workshops in the Broomhill Art Flat.  

The exhibition will run until 28 April, open from 10am to 3pm (closed on Sunday 23 April). The Tobacco Warehouse is inaccessible for wheelchair users.

Recycle Upcycle and Plastic Fantastic are funded by the Climate Challenge Fund from the Keep Scotland Beautiful Charity.
